Let me introduce myself, my name is Catherine Ryder and I am the new chairperson for 'The Friends of Claremont School'.

Our organisation exists to raise money for special projects within the school and to raise funds through organised events such as the 'Summer fair' in order to help pay for trips such as the 'Calvert Trust' activity holiday.

We also help with funding for other important functions such as the 'Summer Play scheme'. which gives the children a chance to have fun and socialize with their friends during the summer holidays, whilst also helping parents by taking some of the strain off the long summer break.

Friends of Claremont School could not exisit however, without its voluntary members who each year consist of parents and Staff from the school who selflessly give up their free time to help.

We are always looking for anyone who might be interested in joining the committee!!  so if you are interested why not give me a call on 07887 504156 or after 6pm on 01454 616622.  I would be more than happy to discuss how the committee works and how you could help.  Alternatively you can contact Alison Ewins (Headteacher) on 01173533622 and let her know you are interested and she will pass on your details to me.

Alternatively you can email us directly:
